Nasiruddin Muhammad Shah
Tughluq Dynasty

Sultan of Delhi during Tughluq Dynasty
Reign – A.D. 1390 to 1394
Father – Firoz Tughluq

After the accession Sultan Nasiruddin Muhammad Shah began to increase his power. First of all, he strengthened his position in the capital and then he dispatched Zafar Kahn to occupy Gujarat. Zafar Khan captured Gujarat and he became the Governor there. Muhammad shah himself crushed the revolts of the Hindus in Doab region. He also endeavored his best to crush the revolt of Bahadur Nahir but was continued against Nahir and the Hindus of Doab did not submit for a long time. He could not get a sigh of relief due to the internal conflicts and conspiracies of the nobles and at last he breathed his last in A.D. 1394.
