After the
accession Sultan Nasiruddin Muhammad Shah began to increase his power. First of
all, he strengthened his position in the capital and then he dispatched Zafar
Kahn to occupy Gujarat. Zafar Khan captured Gujarat and he became the Governor
there. Muhammad shah himself crushed the revolts of the Hindus in Doab region.
He also endeavored his best to crush the revolt of Bahadur Nahir but was
continued against Nahir and the Hindus of Doab did not submit for a long time.
He could not get a sigh of relief due to the internal conflicts and
conspiracies of the nobles and at last he breathed his last in A.D. 1394.
