Zafarnama-i-Alamgiri was written by Aqil Khan Razi. It is also known as Aurangnama or Halat-i-Alamgiri. It contains the history of the contemporary period from 1650 to 1663. Professor Sarkar opines that it is the independent work of the author. It contains the description of some such events as could never be liked by the emperor.
