Jauhar Aftabchi was the personal attendant of Humayun. He wrote this book in Persian after thirty years of reign of Akbar on his instructions. Although it was written by Jauhar on the basis of his memory but Dr. Oanungo has accepted it to be the most authentic work of the age of Humayun.
