Abdulla of Koli (Aligarh) wrote the book Tarikh-i-Daudi during the reign of Jahangir. It starts from the period of Bahlol Lodi. It throws ample light on the early career of SherShah, weaknesses of the Mughals and their contests with the Afghans. Sher Shah’s public welfare works have also been highlighted in this book.
