Padshahnama

Amin Qazvini wrote Padshahnama on the instruction of Shah Jahan. The events of
the first ten years have been described in this book. Qazvini divided his text
into three parts. In the first parts the author has described the early life
and career of Shah Jahan. The second part contained the history of the first
ten years’ reign of Shah Jahan and in the third the life and achievements of
the contemporary saints have been discussed. Qazvini has condemned Nurjahan for
compelling Shah Jahan to raise the standard of revolt against his father.
