Habib-us-Siyar
It was written by Khvandamir. The learned author has described the events of the
reign of Babar though it was completed during the reign of Humayun. Babar’s expedition
against the Afghans in 1529 has been very well mentioned in it. Early events of
the reign of Humayun have also been highlighted as he was an eyewitness of
them. While coming back from Gujarat campaign with Humayun, he fell ill on the
way and breathed his last at Gwalior in A.D. 1534.
